The society is open to any member of the public who wishes to join and support our aims. We have a wide range of members ranging from professional historians and re-enactors through to families and members of the public simply wishing to support the society and find out more. Members are as active or inactive as they wish to be and nothing is expected from members in terms of time commitment. (Of course we would love you to get involved should you wish to do so.)
As an organisation we receive no core funding or steady income and rely entirely upon donations and membership subscriptions to fund our work. We are run by an Executive Body of volunteers each with different areas of expertise but all with one goal. To protect, preserve & promote the vital heritage of the Battle of Worcester 1651.
Members of the society receive the following;
- Membership Card.
- Monthly Black Pear Bulletin.
- Exclusive booking periods on certain Battle of Worcester Society events.
- Exclusive discounts on certain events. (Not just society events)
- A wide variety of discounts in Worcester retail stores.
- Voting rights at the society’s Annual General Meeting.
