The Partnership comprises individuals and organisations who have a common interest in the recognition of Worcester's Civil War history and the promotion of the Civil War battlefield of Worcester. The purpose of the Partnership is to coordinate activity and facilitate information exchange to achieve the aim of promoting and enhancing the understanding, management, accessibility, interpretation and remembrance of the historic battlefield.
The Partnership recognises the impact of the Civil Wars on the political, religious and social life of the nation since the mid-17th Century and endeavours to support projects, particularly those of the Battle of Worcester Society, that reflect that wider remit.
(Battlefield is used in this document refers to the locations and sites related to the Battle of Powick Bridge (1642), the Battle of Worcester (1651), sieges in 1643 and 1646, and other military or associated activity related to the Civil Wars).
Membership is open to all those interested in the purpose of the Partnership or its aims and objectives. Currently this comprises:

Meetings of the Partnership are held quarterly, and arhosted by Worcester City Council at the Guildhall. The Partnership appoints a Chairman and an Honorary Secretary to conduct and organise administrative business. The Mayor of Worcester is invited to host meetings, and may attend meetings from time to time.
The Partnership establishes working groups consisting of members of the Partnership, and others where appropriate, to pursue specific objectives related to the purpose and aims of the Partnership.
No budget is allocated to the Partnership. The Partnership may work with others to raise funding for projects, and may provide representatives to sit on project boards or committees in an advisory capacity, but it is expected that the primary management of projects and budgets will rest with others.
